I figured anyone reading this site would love this as much as I do.

I found this really nifty, people all over the world are putting peace poles in their yards.  A peace pole is a hand crafted monument that has the words “may peace prevail on earth” on all four or six sides, in different languages.  There are at least 200,000 peace poles all around the world, it reminds us how important peace is and that we should be praying for it.  You can create the monument out of anything that is enviornmentally sound, typically western red cedar, because it is a renewable resource.  Most of the time peace poles are planted in a community as an event, but there is nothing wrong at all with putting one on your personal property, to not only remind yourself, but remind others as well to pray for world peace.
