Stainless Steel Tool Box

May 31, 2007 By: damdanger Category: Blog No Comments →

When I go into a garage and I see that a person has a Stainless Steel Tool Box among many other things that are stainless steel, I think it looks the cleanest, and the neatest. I love seeing well put together garages, where it is easy to locate exactly what you are looking for. I like the stainless steel tool boxes, especially the diamond plate workbench designs!  A clean and organized garage is a happy garage!

Gutsy Campaign Strategy

May 31, 2007 By: damdanger Category: Blog No Comments →

John Edwards is a brave man. The election is over a year away, and he’s already proposing tax hikes! For the “rich” only, of course. He also wants to get rid of the tax cuts President Bush has passed since he’s been in office. For those of us making less than $200,000 a year, though, this shouldn’t (fingers crossed) affect us. Secured Credit Cards can be a real life saver to people that do not have the best of credit. Getting a secured credit card can be the first step in starting to repair your credit, once you get the credit card, just keep it current and paid to date, and it will begin to help your credit score! Impeachment?

May 31, 2007 By: damdanger Category: Blog No Comments →

Representative John Murtha, chair of the House Subcommittee on Defense, mentioned the word impeachment on CBS’s “Face the Nation” Sunday.

“There’s three ways or four ways to influence a president. One is popular opinion, the election, third is impeachment, and fourth is the purse.”

Of course, he can always back-pedal later because he didn’t actually say, “I think we should impeach President Bush.” Right? Here’s the clip:

Online Backup

May 31, 2007 By: damdanger Category: Blog No Comments →

Have you ever had to reformat or do something to your computer to fix it? I have quite a few times, and every time I lose something important. Last time that it happened to me I lost all of my photos that I can never replace now.

I just now found a place that allows users to do an online backup of any important documents, photos or mp3s that users may not want to lose. I would have loved to have all of my photos backed up before I had to reformat! I am going to utilize this service for sure. Www.idrive.com is trying to save the world one computer at a time!

Sam Brownback wants political answer in Iraq

May 31, 2007 By: damdanger Category: Blog No Comments →

Sam Brownback is the first politician I’ve heard mention a seemingly reasonable solution to the war in Iraq. During the Republican presidential candidates’ debate, he said,

“I’d push more a political solution along with a military solution in Iraq, and here I would push a three-state, one-country solution in Iraq, with a Kurdish state, a Sunni state, a Shiite state, with Baghdad as the federal city. I think we’ve got to push a political solution, along with the military, to get to a stable situation in Iraq, which is our key political issue of the day.”

IBM Memory

May 30, 2007 By: damdanger Category: Blog No Comments →

I think I got my first personal computer in the early nineties. It was an IBM Aptiva, and boy was it terrible! I guess it was all that when it came out, but I recently plugged it in again to see what I was missing. The screen was tiny and kind of blurry, the IBM memory was slow, and the hard drive was a whopping one gigabyte. It was ahead of its time, but now was a relic in the computer world.

Market Research

May 30, 2007 By: damdanger Category: Blog No Comments →

I remember back in the day there was this game on the original Nintendo console that was focused completely around the day to day life of a Wall Street investor. Though I often see it on lists of the worst games ever, I actually enjoyed it. You had to balance all aspects of your life, from managing your stocks to conducting market research. You also had to balance your own personal life. It was a good time.

Home Furniture

May 30, 2007 By: damdanger Category: Blog No Comments →

I was looking around south Florida for a decent place to live that I could afford on my salary. I was looking at apartments, but figured I would just be throwing money away. I then got to looking at mobile homes, the cheap places I could own outright at a price that is reasonable. Now, these weren’t trailers, these were beautiful modular homes, built to specifications, complete with appliances and home furniture. Maybe I will move in.

Bush honors fallen soldiers on Memorial Day

May 30, 2007 By: damdanger Category: Blog No Comments →

President Bush used his weekly radio address to urge Americans to continue to pray for and honor our troops overseas. He also encouraged Americans to stay strong in their commitment to fighting for freedom around the world. He told the story of a fallen soldier in Iraq who had written letters to his parents urging them to pray for his fellow soldiers. The Democrats used their weekly radio address to give air time to Elliot Anderson of Las Vegas, a former active duty Marine who spent seven months in Afghanistan. Anderson stated his opposition to the war in Iraq and said that the best way to honor our troops is to bring them home.
