It really is amazing how far blog advertising is coming. People say it is annoying to get ads, but as I was looking through my Rolling Stone magazine the other day, there is not hardly a page in there that does not have some sort of advertisements on it. There are more full spread advertisements than articles, so with that being said, I love getting paid to blog. It is so great to be able to write about the things that I am passionate about, and bring information to people, as well as making money on the side! The family of a veteran of the war in Iraq has filed a negligence suit against the Department of Veterans Affairs. Their son served in Iraq, and when he returned, he was denied mental health help from the VA. He then committed suicide. The family is hoping that their suit will bring to light the problems in the VA and cause the Bush administration to fix the way Iraqi vets’ problems are handled.
